Frequently Asked Questions

What is BulkCaster?

BulkCaster is a tool built for Magic: The Gathering resellers that streamlines the process of listing cards for sale. You can import your collection from apps like Manabox, Moxfield, or Archidekt, price your cards using real-time market data, and export ready-to-upload listings for eBay or Card Kingdom.

Which collection apps can I import from?

BulkCaster supports CSV imports from Manabox, Moxfield, and Archidekt. Our smart parser detects which format you're using automatically, so just export a CSV from your preferred app and upload it directly. Other CSV formats may also be compatible.

How do I get my cards onto eBay?

The fastest path is to connect your eBay account and publish directly from the List tab, no CSV export or manual upload required. Available on every tier up to your monthly allowance. If you prefer the old workflow, you can still export a ready-to-upload eBay CSV. The integration supports US, CA, GB, AU, EU, and JP marketplaces with automatic currency conversion.

How does pricing work?

BulkCaster pulls real-time market prices from TCGPlayer (via Scryfall) and Card Kingdom. You set a pricing rule with a source (e.g. TCGPlayer Market), a multiplier, and an optional flat offset. Your target price is calculated automatically and converted to your local currency.

Which currencies and eBay regions are supported?

BulkCaster supports USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD, and JPY. When you connect your eBay account, your marketplace is automatically determined based on your currency setting, for example AUD maps to eBay Australia and GBP maps to eBay UK.

Is there a free tier?

Yes. The free Common tier includes 50 listings per month and direct publishing to eBay, enough to try the platform and list a small batch. If you need more volume or the advanced features, paid plans start at $9.99/month.

What are the subscription tiers?

There are four tiers: Common (free, 50 listings/month), Uncommon ($9.99/month, 500), Rare ($24.99/month, 2,000), and Mythic ($49.99/month, 5,000). Common and Uncommon cover bulk import, direct eBay publishing, smart pricing, custom policies, and the Card Kingdom buy list. Rare and Mythic add the live inventory sync (Manage), the auto-repricer, and per-lot profit tracking (Track).

How does the eBay integration work?

Once you connect your eBay account, every tier can publish listings directly from the List tab up to their monthly allowance. Rare and Mythic tiers also get the Manage console, a live view of every active listing in your eBay store with bulk editing, one-click price updates, and a daily auto-sync that keeps everything current.

Does BulkCaster handle foil cards?

Yes. Foil status is auto-detected from your import data or listing title, and you can toggle it manually. Market prices automatically switch to foil pricing when a card is marked as foil, so your target prices stay accurate.

What is the auto-repricer?

The auto-repricer is an opt-in feature for Rare and Mythic tier users that automatically raises the price of any listing that has fallen below your configured target. It runs once per day at 10:00 UTC and uses the same target formula you already have set up in Market Baseline. It never lowers a price, so your cards can only catch up with the market, not drop below it. You can set a threshold (only raise when a listing is at least X% below target), preview exactly what will change before enabling, and get a notification after every run.

What is the Track tab?

Track is a per-lot profit and loss view for Rare and Mythic users. Log a cost basis when you upload a lot, and BulkCaster syncs your eBay sales nightly, ties them to the originating lot, and shows you gross revenue, estimated fees, net profit, and a sold-item timeline per lot. Useful for knowing which lots have cleared and which are still in play.

What is the Card Kingdom buy list feature?

BulkCaster makes it exponentially easier to sell your cards to Card Kingdom. Upload your collection, generate a buy list submission, and see what your cards are worth, all in a few clicks. We also surface any cards where Card Kingdom's buylist beats your eBay net, so you never miss an easy win. The Card Kingdom feature is completely free.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Authentication is handled by Clerk, and all database access is protected by Supabase Row Level Security, so your data is only visible to you. eBay tokens are encrypted at rest and never exposed to the browser.

Can I use BulkCaster on mobile?

BulkCaster is a web app optimized for desktop use, since listing management involves tables and bulk editing. You can access it on mobile browsers, but the experience is best on a laptop or desktop.
